As a volunteer, you are a very important resource for us to reach out with information to children about their rights and the support that Bris offers. As a volunteer, you gain in-depth knowledge of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, you gain access to cutting edge knowledge in children's rights issues and you get the opportunity to influence society for the betterment of children.
We have many different assignments to choose from; everything from being out at schools and informing about the Convention on the Rights of the Child and Bris, to meeting adults and informing about their responsibilities, meeting politicians to influence and meeting children at various events and informing about Bris and children's rights.

Cycling Without Age
Cycling without age is a non-profit project where volunteer bicycle pilots together with the city's nursing homes ensure that the elderly get out on bicycle rides and get the opportunity to feel the wind in their hair. With adapted cargo bikes, we experience the city together, visit parks and enjoy the view along the coast. The idea comes from the Danish cycling culture where no one, regardless of age, should miss out on the freedom that the bicycle offers. We are today in over 50 countries and in Sweden in up to 40 municipalities and are constantly looking for new volunteers.
Cycling without age is a non-profit project where bicycle-pilots togheter with the city's retirement homes helps the elder to come out on bicycle-tours and gets the possibility to feel the wind in their hair. With customized cargo bike we experience the city together, visit parks and enjoy the view along the coast. We are represented in over 50 countries today and in Sweden we are represented in 40 municipalities and are always looking for new volunteers.

Erikshjälpen Second Hand is a second hand movement with around 60 stores around Sweden and Norway that provides income for children's rights work. The stores create jobs and opportunities for people outside the regular labor market for personal development. Around 2,000 volunteers get involved in the activities, which also contribute to a better environment.

We also offer free consultation for professionals who come into contact with the target groups as well as training for businesses that may meet our target groups and need more knowledge.

We help and care through our psychosocial, legal and medical activities, where we inform, among other things, what rights people who come to us have and refer them to what help they can get from, for example, regular care.

Every summer, Malmö Sommargårdar has workshops for over 1,600 children from Malmö aged 5-12 in Höllviken and Hästveda. Before each summer, we employ approx. 160 people for our various positions at Kollo.

Malmö Ideella is an organisation that collaborates with the City of Malmö, when it comes to questions concerning the best for the citizen in Malmö. It also collaborates with governmental bodies, such as the universities and foremost with Malmö University. One of the missions for Malmö Ideella is to help new citizens in Malmö find activities for children, youth, grown ups and more. It can be newcomers, students or others. We are at Open Your Eyes to Malmö to answer questions about activities if you do not find one amongst the other participating associations/organisations.
The Limhamn Griffins, established in 1988 through the merger of two Malmö associations, is one of Sweden’s oldest American football clubs. Boys, girls, men, and women starting from age 11, of all skill levels, sizes, ages, and backgrounds are welcome! American football with the Griffins creates an inclusive community that encourages wellbeing and health by providing a safe space for both physical activity and social interaction. This diversity enables people from all sporting backgrounds to get involved, supporting an active and healthy lifestyle for everyone involved.
Rotaract Club of Malmö-Lund International is dedicated to people who share a passion for both community service and friendship. Becoming a Rotaractor connects you with a diverse group of an international community who share a drive to give back. The mission of Rotaract is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of community leaders. All Rotaract efforts begin at the local, grassroots level, with members addressing their communities' physical and social needs while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service. We also provide a great space for young people to develop leadership and professional skills.
Positiva Gruppen Syd is a non-profit organization based in Malmö, working for and with people living with or affected by HIV in southern Sweden. We offer a network built on peer-support and knowledge, and we provide information, education, and social activities. We both focus on our community and try to strenghten it, but simultaneously we are doing all kind of campaigns in order to break to HIV-related stigma. For the past few years, we have also been running a chemsex project called Chemwise. The aim of Chemwise is to reduce harm, prevent the transmission of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, prevent overdoses, and address substance use and dependency in the context of sexualized drug use. We also aim to promote well-being among individuals who engage in sexualized drug use, including chemsex.
Do you want to develop your Swedish? At Kvarnby Folk High School you can study Swedish at different levels and at your own pace. We offer courses for both beginners and for those who have completed SFI and want to continue studying – at basic level or upper secondary level. Every week we also have a language café, where you can practice Swedish and have coffee together with our Swedish volunteers.
At Kvarnby Folk High School there are also Serieskolan and Skrivarskolan, where you can study at post-secondary level. Skrivarskolan offers distance learning courses on a part-time and full-time basis for those who want to improve their writing. Serieskolan is a well-known training course for cartoonists in Malmö, which gives you the opportunity to develop your creativity and build experience through practical creation.

AFC Malmö is based at Kroksbäcks IP, right in the heart of Malmö. The club strives to be “Sweden’s warmest football club” thanks to its unique, family-friendly spirit where everyone is welcome and where hope and love permeate the activities.
The club was founded in 2015 and began its journey in Division 8. In just seven years, they advanced all the way to division One – a historic achievement in Swedish football – and now the club is aiming for Superettan as the next step.
In 2019, AFC Malmö started its youth activities, which today have around 260 active members and are growing every day. Towards 2026, the club continues to develop girls’ football and also plans to start a women’s team.
AFC Malmö is not only taking steps on the pitch – but also in society. Through various projects, the club helps to support, help and make both young and old happy.
We have a place for everyone: players, coaches, managers, administrators, photographers and anyone who wants to get involved in club life or just meet up and play ball.

Africans Arise is a non-governmental organisation based in Malmö. Our mission is to empower and uplift African communities in Malmö and Sweden by fostering connections with the wider Swedish society, promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and actively combating Afrophobia and anti-Black racism. We achieve this through four key pillars: Community Building, Advocacy & Social Justice, Economic Empowerment, and Cultural Exchange.

Welcome to the association Aktiv Ungdom Malmö, a child- and youth-association in Malmö with: Dance school with dance for children, Showdance and Streetdance, HipHop, Oriental dance, and much more, with groups from 4 years of age up to adults. Musical school with song and dance, from 8 years and upward. Theatre with theatre play, drama excercises and stage performance and more, with groups for children from 6 years and upward. Art and painting-school with drawing and painting, illustration with groups from 6 years and upward. Workshops during the year in dance, fashion and design and much more. We act to give everybody a stimulating and rewarding spare time, and a possibility to engage in the associations life.
We are a non-profit charity that runs a free food bank in Malmö where we collect food waste, divide it up and then distribute it to those in need and to people who want to help reduce food waste.
We organize food distributions three days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and on each occasion there can be up to 150 people in our queue.
In Sweden, over 100,000 tons of food are thrown away annually throughout the entire value chain, while around 500,000 people live on the subsistence minimum. We combine important environmental and sustainability work with major social benefits.

En Frisk Generation (“A Healthy Generation”) is a non-profit organization that works to promote equitable health by offering free, family-oriented activities that combine physical activity, nutrition education, and social connection. The programs are specifically aimed at families and are conducted on average twice a week during a school year. By empowering parents and children in their health choices and community engagement, En Frisk Generation contributes to a more equitable and active future for all.
The European Network for Holistic Integration (ENHI) is a Swedish NGO dedicated to promoting the social, educational, and emotional inclusion of vulnerable groups and migrant families. ENHI applies a holistic approach that combines adult education, wellbeing, and community engagement to strengthen individual resilience and social cohesion.
ENHI works across Europe to develop training, awareness, and community-based initiatives that support mental health, integration, and equal participation. Through education and collaboration, ENHI aims to create sustainable communities—where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to contribute to a more inclusive society.

In the summer, we are at Segevångsbadet, an outdoor pool at Scandic, where SK RAN conducts swimming lessons, swimming training and water polo.
